    Dr. Iris Jackson was the founding psychologist of Gilmour Psychological Services in 1983. She works with adults in individual or couples' therapy. Although she treats a wide spectrum of problems and disorders, she has special proficiency in the treatment of substance abuse problems, identity problems, adult survivors of childhood trauma, anger, mood, anxiety and self-esteem disorders and couples' conflict. Dr. Jackson is acknowledged as an expert on professional issues and the ethical practice of psychology.She also conducts psychodiagnostic ( testing ) assessments.

    Dr. Frances Smyth provides services to children, adolescents and adults and their families. Although she treats a wide range of problems, an area of expertise is the assessment of children's learning and emotional difficulties. She has particular interest in individual psychotherapy with children and adults from dysfunctional families such as children of alcoholics and families who are dealing with changes and difficulties such as those caused by divorce, parental sexual orientation, or death of family members. Dr. Smyth also conducts child custody and access assessments.

    Dr. Karen Davies provides psychological services to adults, adolescents and children. She treats people individually, in couples, or in families for a wide range of presenting problems, including: anxiety, depression, anger, substance abuse, identity and self-esteem issues, difficulties with communication, intimacy and conflict resolution within relationships.

    Dr. Doreen Gough conducts psychotherapy with individuals and groups. She works with a diversity of adult problems. These include, but are not limited to: depression, anxiety, suicidal feelings, avoidance and fears of intimacy, personality disorders, post traumatic stress, sexual dysfunction, substance abuse problems, grief, infertility, crisis, burn-out, emotional reactions to medical problems and survival of sexual abuse, accidents, criminal attack or war. Attachment and adjustment issues are of particular interest to Dr. Gough

    Dr. Anne Boland provides therapy to anglophone and francophone adolescents, adults and couples. She works from a holistic and integrative perspective in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, childhood trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, interpersonal difficulties, religious or spiritual issues, dissociative disorders and the psychological impact of serious illness on patients and their families. She offers EMDR, Focusing and Mindfulness-based stress reduction, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.
